CIT Broadband delivers the internet to your door by using DSL technology and fixed wireless technology. Both are fast, reliable, secure. In most cases the deciding factor in choosing DSL or wireless is where you live. Our wireless systems are most commonly used in areas where DSL is not available. As our DSL systems do become available, we typically transition out clients to the DSL systems.
Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) - Provides high-speed internet via a conventional telephone line.
There is no hardware or software to install on your computer. It is an always on connection with no need to log in every time you want to use it.
DSL does not interfere with telephone conversations or faxes. Voice traffic (talking on the phone and fax signals) goes to the phone or the fax machine, while your data traffic (surfing the Web, downloading large files or photos) goes through the DSL modem and then to your computer, thus allowing you to use both at the same time.
DSL Coverage - We have DSL coverage all over North
Texas, please call for location qualification.
Fixed Wireless- Provides high-speed
internet via a wireless transmitter placed
on your building that communicates with one
of our transmission towers. There is no hardware
or software to install on your computer. It
is an always on connection with no need to
log in every time you want to use it.
The transmitter will be mounted on your roof,
garage, chimney or other suitable location.
The cable from the transmitter is routed into
your home near your computer.
