The average installation takes 2 to 3 hours, and will be done in a manner that is easiest for the installer. If the customer requests a different installation configuration (for aesthetic reasons, or otherwise), the installer will make good effort to meet the customer's request.

If an installation takes longer than 3 hours, it will be considered a non-standard installation. Additional time will be billed at the rate of $65.00 per hour.

Additional materials and equipment required for a non-standard installation will be billed to the customer. Additional materials and equipment is anything not included with the factory mounting hardware and standard cabling. This includes, but is not limited to: network cards, routers, switches, hubs to use with multiple computers, additional cabling, and any special mounting equipment to raise the antenna to overcome obstacles.

*A Plug-n-Play installation process makes implementing the service a relatively easy task. There are, however, a few things that may complicate a self-install such as an actively monitored alarm system or health monitoring device, running an Apple, or UNIX/LINUX operating system, running more than one computer on the line. You will be web hosting or will be dialing into another computer that demands a static IP address. You have a key phone system or are using a rotary phone on the line that you would like to use.
If any of these items apply, you may want to consider a professional installation.
